Food For The Poor – 5^th Annual Walk for Hunger

Date: October 2, 2010
Time: 8:30am – 12:00 noon

Location: Lynn University, 3601 N. Military Trail, Boca Raton, FL 33431

Summary: The Walk for Hunger is a 3 mile walk established by Food for the Poor to raise awareness and funds to fight the chronic malnutrition affecting the Caribbean and Latin America. The 2010 Walk for Hunger will provide life-sustaining food for the people of Haiti, who have suffered greatly due to the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that struck Port-au-Prince in January. The people of Haiti continue to face a daily struggle, but they have not lost hope. Your help will remind them that they are not forgotten.

The 23rd Annual Woman Volunteer of the Year Award Luncheon & Fashion Show

WHERE: Boca Raton Resort and Club

SUMMARY: Celebrate nearly 30 outstanding woman volunteers who have made extraordinary contributions in our community. JOIN US in this celebration of volunteerism!

Details: Hospice by the Sea’s highly anticipated annual beachfront event will feature a gala evening filled with live music, fine cuisine and world renowned wines courtesy of ABC Fine Wines & Spirits. The event will include a premier silent auction and raffle drawings filled with unique gifts, exciting resort getaways and a fabulous 12-day Mediterranean cruise provided by Celebrity Cruises.
