Gary serves as Managing Partner of Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith, PLLC -- the third oldest law firm in Palm Beach County – his grandfather founded in 1927 which remains headquartered in West Palm Beach with expansion of offices in Boca Raton and Stuart. Concentrating his practice in general personal injury matters, Gary has handled numerous high profile cases in automobile injury, wrongful/accidental death, premises liability, negligent security, and defective product injury cases. His zeal to balance business success with “give back” and “paying it forward” to the community is his hallmark; exceptional client service and advocacy is his promise. 

An “AV” rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell for demonstrating the highest level of legal ability and ethics, Gary was recognized this year by Florida Trend as a Legal Elite, he was also inducted into the magazine’s Florida Legal Elite Hall of Fame (as one of only 56 Florida attorneys recognized as a Legal Elite for five years), and voted a Super Lawyer in Personal Injury by his peers.  Gary served as Chair of The Florida Bar Professional Ethics Committee and is currently Chair of the Advertising Committee. He has also served as Chair of the Palm Beach County Bar Association's Professionalism Committee and Chair of its Medical Legal Committee for many years, is an Eagle Member and Member of the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Academy of the Florida Justice Association, and served as Vice President for Student Recruitment and Placement and Executive Board Member of University of Miami Law School Alumni Association. Gary chaired the Attorneys Division and Business & Professions Division of the Jewish Federation of the Palm Beaches, and is a Member of the Executive Board, and served as Legal Vice President and Fundraising Vice President of the Meyer Jewish Academy. 

Beyond legal circles, Gary has been appointed to the Economic Council of Palm Beach County, and is a member of the PBC Business Development Board, and a Trustee of the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce and the Stuart/Martin County Chamber of Commerce.  Active with the Palm Beach Medical Society, he has made great strides in opening and enhancing positive and productive interactive dialogue between medical professionals and attorneys to better serve patients/clients.  He and his firm support more than 50 vital charitable and business organizations. He is co-chairing the 2010 Lupus Foundation of America Models of Success event following his chairmanship of 2009 Healthy Mothers/Healthy Babies Coalition of Palm Beach County, Inc. Shining Star Awards, which earned him their “Supporter of the Year” Award this year.

Born and raised in Palm Beach County, Gary earned his J.D. from University of Miami School of Law and B.A. in International Affairs from George Washington University.   He lives in Palm Beach Gardens with his wife Jennifer and three daughters Lillian, Josie and Rebecca.
